Hi,
I'm trying to figure out how to toggle Song Elapsed-Remain time display in the Mix Lab 3.1 skin by pressing a button on Numark Stealth controller.
Here is an answer i got in the Numark Hardware support forum:
To be displayed on screen and toggle between these times, the skin must support such a function. Usually skins use textzones to display times, so you will have to modify one of them.
For further assistance please open a thread at the Skins Forum.
Has anyone done it?
Please help,
Thanks

Huey,
i am not sure that you can change the skins textzone with a controller button.
I think you have to go further. You need to create 2 different panels, 1 with Remain time and 1 with elapsed. Then use 1 button to toggle between these 2 panels.

Thans for your responses, but this becomes somewhat complicated for my user type. :-/
If smdb has done it, would be great if you could post an example. Maybe i can use it.

Im kinda lost as to what your tryin to achieve but you don't need a button just click on the text on the skin and it will change from the time to time played to time left on the track................is that what you want?

Hey thanks for the instructions!
I do appreciate that. Will try it tomorrow and let you know.
PS Yes, i can press on a time with a Mouse and it toggles the display. But toggling Elapsed/Remain time is a function i use a lot in my dj'ing, so i would like to have it available quicker, more straightforward.
I love open and modular design of VDJ and possibility to customize skins, mappings, effects, etc. That is great.

Please don't bump old posts, this topic is over a year old.
VirtualDJ LE is limited software and doesn't support using custom skins except during the 20 day trial of the full Pro.
Please see our FAQ pages:
