soundFX Karaoke
I am now worrying that ive just spend a fortune on a mac just to find the free version has no karaoke function. Will this be the same for the Full version when I buy it.
I am also getting error messages when I load my files, is there a download to rectify this anywhere

The free version can play karaoke, but it is limited to a small window only. The full Pro allows full-screen video and karaoke.
Karaoke must be in MP3+G format to be played in VirtualDJ.
If zipped, it must use standard compression (With today's large hard disk drives, zipping is not really necessary.)

But does the full mac version have the karaoke Plugin that lets me type in the singers name as it does in the PC version???

The Mac version doesn't yet AFAIK. You would need bootcamp.
