Sujet Warbly sound with NS7FX

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I have spent tons of money and put thru hell with my NS7FX. The first 2 I bought were completely defective and had to be returned. The one I have now will work with Serato Itch - but I HATE Itch, and it can't play videos. On my PC Laptop the Virtual Vynil worked a little but sounded warbly, the Virtual DJ didn't work right at all. When I spoke to Virtual DJ Support they told me I really needed to buy a MAc as there were driver conflicts. So... I forked out another $2000 bucks and got a Macbook Air- and guess what??? Most of the functions work- EXCEPT: The sound is still warbly and "sick" sounding. Why hasn't support addressed this problem yet. SURELY I am not the only user having this problem. I need a viable solution. Anybody??

I have the ns7 without the effects. I did a little recording and attached it to my ticket. I got a call on Nov 8th saying that he was going to pass it on to someone within the company who djs with the ns7 and a macbook and has no problems at all. Still waiting for him to get in touch with me.

I have the same issue with the sound. I was told to turn the motor on the ns7 off and that will help. At this time there isn't a fix for it. Frankly I am a little ticked off. There are an over whelming amout of djs in my area that I know of that have cracked versions and just use an auto playlist and don't have a single issue. Seems like the ones who are having the issues are the guys who still believe in equipment.

Question for you guys. Anyone else having a problem with audio being loud as hell on your incoming song then all of a sudden it gets real low? I was told to make sure that auto gain and remember is checked. IT IS, and it is still doing it. I don't want to bash itch because that seems to be working for me. Sucks that we pay that amout of money for the NS7 and don't get video. If anyone one can help me that would be awesome.

I'm using an older macbook pro. Meets all of the requirements. Just can't seem to get the ns7 running smooth with vdj.

I have the opposite problem with the gain... if I turn the gain up and then reload a track, it defaults to the normal gain. So if I forget to adjust it, I switch over to a much quieter track, and then real fast have to flip it up. Sucks... But that doesn't bother me nearly as much as the warbly sound. That is KILLER! I haven't be able to record anything at all because it ALL come outs like that. And its definitely in the software. I've tried it on multiple computer and obviously others are experiencing this and there is no way we all have faulty or non-compatible sound cards? Please post a solution.

Same problem with the warbly sound. Opened a ticket in SEPTEMBER and still no solution! If itch had video i would be ditching VDJ because they clearly have no intention on dealing with software issues in a timely manner!

If 6.1.2 works for you, ask the support to put this version into your Download Center.

I just bought a MacBook Pro and am having this problem as well. Although my friend has the same exact computer and yet he has no problem.
I pray VDJ support sees this issue and finds a fix in the next update.

I had the problem with my NS7, but I went back to the last version of 6 and it got rid of the warble. I now sold m NS7 and got V7's, and i have the same warble problem. Brand New MacBook Pro, 2.6 Ghz, 4 Gb ram, OSX 6.07, and if I start the song, press motor off, them motor on, it fixes it for that one song. Going back to v 6 did not solve. Only on my Mac Book. If i run v7.0.3 on my crappy Del PC with XP on it, they run fine?

Well I'm glad I'm not the only only one. When I bought my V7's last year I brought up the "warble-ee" sound issue and moderators kept telling me that the problem was on my end and settings weren't correct etc. I tried everything... EVERYTHING, and nothing fixed the problem, and yet I was still told VDJ can work with V7's / NS7. The response you'll get is that "VDJ works with V7 / NS7"... which is true, they work... HORRIBLY! Come on Atomix, stop claiming your software works with the NS7, because it doesn't!

I just got off of the phone with tech support...same thing. They told me to turn the motors off of the platters. Lo and behold, no more warble! Now I am trying to figure out why I spent $1200 on a controller, $1200 for new iMac, $330 for VDJ, and countless late nights trying to dial in everything for scratching and mixing videos on VDJ (cuz we all know they advertise that they're compatible)...only to find out that the product doesn't do what it advertised. Hindsight, I think I should have just stayed with my old Numark DVD mixer and players.
While I'm at it, anyone find a way of ripping music videos so that they look normal and not digitized? I'm using Hand Brake, but some videos look like crap.
