Hey guys. Its 3 hours till the DNMC6000 launch party. I'm so friggin excited I cant sleep (Its 6am in Singapore btw). Is anyone attending? I'm gonna be watching it live. For you lot who cant attend it like me, you can always register at http://www.d-mpro.com/denondj/watchlive/index.html
and watch it live. One step closer to finally getting it.

i was thinking of staying up to see it but it is too late for me. work tomorrow morning.
 
Don't bother watching on the stream guys - it's dreadful.

They were late starting, the camera was too far away (and all the clubbers stood in front of the demo area) and the audio was a mic in the room, rather than a direct feed from the mixer.

After lots of complaints from the viewers, they eventually sorted a decent audio feed, but the DJs were poor (key clashes and galloping beats) and were doing a lot of swearing.

Seriously, there are guys on YouTube who do it better, and with no money.

Yeah, I had to split also. I could have handled all the crap, except not being able to see the unit. The camera was in the ceiling.
 
Yeah its a real pity. Cant see the unit, levels are all over the place. The djs were disappointing, except for flipside whos really killing it now.
 
It was a pretty poor video production to launch a product.

Once they got to the new unit the guy doing the demo had ended up answering more actual questions about VDJ then the unit he was there to display and demo from DENON

The unit though looks to be a decent one from what little he had demo with it, etc...

I sure hope DENON will do a studio recording of what this unit can actually do without all the interruptions from the club patrons.

The DENON 3700'S sounded good once they fixed the audio feed.

But that DJ using SERATO with the DENON 3700'S was there for exactly what?

Was it name that tune?

He was not a very good demo person IMHO. But he seemed good on them.

I wanted to see P.E.'s DJ mix it up for a bit but then that SPAMMER started his thing and the broadcast went down and then once back up a band? W.T.F.?

Were you watching? If not then put a sock in it.

As you can see from the posts following mine, plus numerous posts on the Denon forum, it was the general consensus
that the thing was poorly organised - not just me "always complaining".

Beatbreaker. I'm behind groovindj on this mate. It was pretty bad. With all the hype surrounding it I'd think it would be a grand affair. It was more of a product demo than a 'launch party' as they labelled it. Bad streaming, Bad djs (at least the first two. DJ Flipside was awesome)... bad bad bad.
 
So, did they say when it would be available and how much?

I just got my new PSSL.COM catalog and their advertising them as in stock and ready to ship. I personally don't want 1 but they say they have em.

Remember the shelf life of a catalogue is quite long... In a months time the catalogue will still be relevant and the product will be out, so they are just covering their bases!!!

I'd call them and make sure before placing that order ;-)
