Hey all!!!! Today ive purchased a Hercules DJ MP3 e2 and frankly I cant wait for it to arrive as my CD Decks are bust and this gave me a good reason to try a bit of virtual dj!! Now I know the item I bought isnt exactly top spec but it should suit my needs quiet well. So I understand that I will need an external sound and have my eye on something cheap like this
http://cgi.ebay.ie/USB-EXTERNAL-3D-VIRTUAL-5-1-CHANNEL-AUDIO-PC-SOUND-CARD-/230530779877?pt=UK_Computing_ComputerComponents_SoundCards&hash=item35acb48ae5

Would this be sufficent and most importantly will it actually work..Haha.. Also I understand that with the Controller I am getting a specific version of the virtual dj program that is tailored to suit the actual controllers needs.
Now I have played around with VD the other day for the first time on a mates computer and it had a really cool Pioneer CDJ 2000 skin.
So basically my last question is can i use this skin on the type of VD I am getting with the controller??
Thanks for your patience...Jonny..

In Order to use the headphone previewing mode with Virtual DJ, your soundcard need to be multi-channel ( 4.1 or 5.1 for example) and have the appropriate connections.

The soundcard you asked about only as 1 Output, just like a laptop's onboard for example. You could always try to combine them, but that usually leads to frustration. I would probably invest a bit more and get a Native Instruments Audio 2 DJ Soundcard or Numark DJ IO and save yourself some trouble.

As for using the skin, this is not possible with the LE version. The same applies for plugins and samples.

Hard to say with no specs information, but if it does what it says on the box, it could get you started.
