Sujet Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit Edition

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hi Guys.

Does anyone use a Lite version of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit as I have a Sony Vaio Laptop which came with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit but has also installed lots of Sony Vaio software. I don't want to start uninstalling anything as I do use this laptop to DJ and I don't want to start having problems.

Uninstalling all the Sony crapware will significantly speed up your machine as it will remove a load of items from startup.

Once you have done that and defragmented you will notice a difference.

My son's Vaio LT2S has been for a motherboard replacement and Sony have replaced my Windows 7 OEM install with the original Vista and over the top Sony crapware. Not happy!

uninstall the barfware !

you get problems from having it , not uninstalling it !??

then defrag

get CCleaner (it's free) and run it , it will clean your filthy caches

and appalling registry !

if you get Game Booster (also free) it will find and turn off background processes , also

giving you a more dedicated system .....

plus there are still more easy tweaks all free ....

edit

since you mentioned you don't wanna start having problems.....

i do this just about everyday.....

set a restore point yourself ....easy enough to do with windows default utility

but if you need hand holding , get QuickRestore Maker free from the Windows Club

leave it's icon on your desktop , and now you can set a restore point with one click ,

BEFORE making any changes ......
