All,
I have recently gone through an exercise of embedding album art files in MP3's using Mp3tag.
I notice that VDJ doesn't automatically recognize this and it has to be selected manually in the info for each file.
Further to this, once selected VDJ then creates a JPG file in the folder with the MP3 which sort of defeats having the tags embedded in the first place.
Is there any way to get VDJ to automatically recognise embedded art on all files instead of having to do it track by track, and can anyone explain why the JPG is created?
Thanks
Keith

if i recall right (mabye has changed in V7 as im still stuck with CUE LE 5.2.1) if you wanted album art in the browser you need one jpg for each song in the folded named like the tune. for example: U96 - Das Boot.mp3 and U96 - Das Boot.jpg

That is the way things used to work, but why can't VDJ just display the art embedded in the MP3 file automatically the same way Traktor does?
Also, is it possible for the album art to be displayed in the video window for audio only files?

I believe you could download the ShowCover plugin and then use the option to use the plugin for mp3's. And I just wish it would automatically write the bpm's to the tag after you've analyzed the track! Sucks going back and adding them 1 by 1.......
