hi.

am new to all this

i'm running vdj pro 7 with a hercules dj console rmx and it's great apart from the lack of treble control (none)

whenever i turn the treble knob on the controller the config window pops up.

could it need some kind of mapping code put in somewhere?

have tried unninstalling/reinstalling drivers for both console and vdj7 with no joy.

have windows 7 on new vaio lappy with 4gb ram an i3 processor

anyone help?

sounds like your mapper is missing or something.

There is a file which you can d/l from vdj called hercules mapper, and then you save that.

Let me look where and how and I'll get back.

click on the one you want. There are diff ones


I think you just d/l and open it, it will install in the correct place.

I just looked at my virtual DJ folder under mappers and there is nothing there. So I really don't know where it goes.
 
If you wish to use the default official mappings that are built into VirtualDJ, go to CONFIG -> Mappers, choose the RMX in drop-down list and then click the reset to factory settings button at the bottom-left.

No mapper download is necessary unless you wish to use another user's customised mappings.
