I have a few questions about the "File Info" window............
1, What does the "Apply to All" button do? I hit and it doesnt seem to do anything.............
2, Why does the BPM number have so many numbers after the point? (Example, 81.9982)
3, which is more of a request I guess, in a future release can we the "BPM" and the "KEY" automaticlly wrote to the ID3 tag after you analyze your track?? Now I know some people will disagree with the KEY being wrote but I think it should cause atleast it gives me a pretty good guess as to where the track is at. Plus out of the 2 programs I do use VDJ is the only 1 that after it analyzes a track it shows the key.
And 4, if I have a track that needs a cover VDJ will find it and for the most part does a great job at matching things up. But I think there should be a way to check my laptop aswell. Like 1 of the boxes says "C:\Users\Huey\Pictures" or something like that. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks for the time and info
Huey

OK I found the answer to question 1,
"the [Apply to all] button can be used to apply changes to the selected songs. The fields that changes can be applied to in this situation are Artist, Album, Composer, Genre, Comment, Field1, Field2, and Rating."
Reading the manual pays off, lol! But any input on the others would be great.

Ok so here is my big question. Why does it only write those fields to all highlighted? If they could just make it right to bpm and key as well we wouldn't a big feature addition or anything. Then we could do it manually directory by directory and we all wouldn't need another program besides VDJ to update our tags. If the button actually did "apply to all", meaning ALL discovered info into ALL tag fields for ALL highlighted files we would be a.o.k.!
Not saying I don't love VDJ the way it is right now, because I do love it, but this would certainly be a welcome addition.
Just my 2 cents.
Thanks,
John

Huey,
The artist should be Wiz Khalifa not Snoop Dogg.
The BPM thing is weird, fractions of a beat? All my files seem to turn up that way aswell.

Hahaa, yeah I fixed it. Anybody know why the BPM's look like that??

The BPM looks like this because in VDJ 7 they adjusted the bpm output to be more accurate.
So rather than having 2 tracks reading 132.4bpm. It could be 132.499 and the other 132.401 (almost 1 apart)- doing it this way allows for better accuracy.
