Today I just received the Numark Total Control as a present and decided to set it up and see how it would work. Everything went fine and when I went to open VDJ the faders and pitch benders were working on screen with the mixer. But for some reason when I click play on the mixer for a song, I don't hear anything or see the waves moving. But if I replace the song, it says "music is still playing!." Can somebody explain to me whatever I'm doing wrong and find a way to fix it? Is it just the new VDJ not being able to coexist or something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are just playing off your laptop then go to CONFIG->SOUND SETUP then select as follows:
INPUTS: NONE
OUTPUTS: SINGLE OUTPUT
SOUNDCARD: SIMPLE
For SOUNDCARD select your laptop's default soundcard.

Also, register your serial number so that you can download some tools you can use and also get a discount when you upgrade to VDJ Pro.

I actually have the DJIO as well. So what would I need to set up for that? Also I don't know if it makes a difference with the IO or not, but I have no RCA outputs as yet...I was thinking maybe it could play thru the headphones still though.
Update: Now its playing, the waves are moving, but its going really slow and static. How would I be able to fix that?
