I was about to add my music to the hot new computer I got for Christmas, the SONY VAIO VPCEC3DFX/BJ
•Intel® Core™ i5-460M (2.53GHz)
•Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-bit
•17.3" LED-backlit (1600x900) widescreen display
•4GB of DDR3 memory and 500GB Serial ATA HDD
•ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5470 Graphics with 512MB dedicated video RAM
This would be my 1st time doing this myself.
Am I suppose to set the music up with its own partition?
I think so as that's how it's set ypon my other machines
Please help! Thanx! -Z-

Creating a different partition for music and other files would help you in the future to reinstall, format etc OS.

But in my opinion, and im sure most would agree, its best to use an external HD, so avoid any complications if your computer HD ever should crash. You can get terrabyte drives for next to nothing, these days!
