Two persona's for me...

Bailey - it's my surname. I use this when playing trance sets - all very grown up and serious...lol

DJ TyDee - it's a play on what the Welsh say ("tidy") when something is good, cool, etc, etc. I use this persona when playing commercial dance/house sets.

ha, lol ive not been around for the last few months. thanks though.

Keith, you've been hanging around with these Americans to long lol

Blulite, hows that shejay living next door shaping up?

lol, charlie my friend, she sucks, or at least the last time i heard her play she did. ive moved house :) i got a bigger one. i think her main problem was only practicing when she was drunk or stoned. which is no good really.

im starting to get quite a bit better since i was last on even though ive not had much practice in the last 4 months. this year im going to practice every day and try to get a club gig. one of my old school friends who i hadnt seen in years happens to have had residencies in quite a lot of clubs where i live so ive kinda got a foot n the door already i just need to practice a whole lot more.

ine thing i need to practice is sticking with ths 2-3 mins per track thing. i have a habit of playing full tracks and not looking busy. and i need to do more sampling and effects.

how are you btw? you have a good new year? i stayed in all night with my boys toys and the tv. i diddnt even have a beer for a change.

About two life cycles ago..lol. ok, ok, here we go. Once upon a time.

About 12 years ago, I went to visit a friend, but he wasn't home, so we decide to wait for him. When he pulled into his driveway, he had his three daughters with him and as they coming out of the car in age order (they always do the age thing as if it was some sort of ritual) The oldest girl sees me and says to me " hi Hoyo" which is my last name; the middle girl comes out and once again "Hi Hoyo". Finally, the youngest girl comes out of the car, steps right on the edge of the door, and says to me "Hi Ho' (pauses for a moment) yo". By this time, several of us were waiting for my friend, so many of us heard the little girl call me "Ho" and we all began to laugh.

About a month after that day, I had an event in Vegas, and the promoter asked me what my dj name was. Up to this point I had never given my self a dj name because I was in a partnership with a friend, and we had a name for the partner ship, and we would always go by our first name on all business deals. I looked puzzled and confused (I think they both mean the same expression, lol) so, my friend from that day, looks at the promoter and tells him "Dj Ho, his name is Ho". The promoter gave a weird look, but he went on the mic and announced "Dj Ho is here from LA".

Ever since then, I've been known as Dj Ho, and that's how I got my name.

lol did it not feel like your friend was pimping you?

owner: hey whats your dj name?
you: um???
friend: hey man, his name is ho, how much you paying?

oh yeah hu, never thought of it that way. hahahahahahaha

you just need to hope it doenst evolve into dj rent boy lmao.

well, if the ladies ask, hahahaha, but that's another topic.
