Hi
Can anyone help me. I recently bought a Hercules Rmx controller which came with Vdj 5.2.2 DJC edition. Everythings good for the first few songs but eventually the program crashes leaving the music playing but with no way of controling anything.
I'm running this on a Dell pc which has a AMD Phenom Quad core processor 2.40 Ghz and 4 GB of RAM . My os is Windows 7.
As a novice Digital Dj i would appreciate any help or advice
Thanks
Iain

Hi,
The basic up front advice you're going to get is this:
Update the RMX Firmware
Update the drivers for the the Hercules RMX.
If you still have problems after that check back in. Good luck! -Z-

To clarify DJSteveZ:
- You can fnd the latest drivers here:
http://ts.hercules.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=17&fid=62&pid=215&cid=1
Once the installation is completed, if the internal Firmware needs to be updated, it will be done automatically, but since this is a new unit, this is quite unlikely to happen.
You may also want to run Windows Update (Start > All programs > Windows Update) to get all the latest updates for your operating system.
Next, apply the changes explained in this guide:
