VirtualDJ - Mapper Backup ? (fr)

hi peeps, need some help 'BIG TIME' !!

Can't believe whats happened :(

All I did was download the 32 band graphics eq plug-in and things have gone crazy up in virtual dj..

first of all the new plug-in knocked all my pre-set and mapped effects 'out of sync' meaning I have to re-map them all..grrrr
so..to save time doing this over I went into one of my pre-saved mapped profiles and re-loaded vdj.

Owch..all my Karaoke files are GONE ?? wtf, virtual is not reading them for some reason?

the karaoke files are still where they are in the folder they were last read from, I haven't moved them or re-named them so why are they not showing up, either in my virtual folders or from the original folders on the c drive ?

I in a panic at the moment, and was hoping that there was a 'get me outta jail free' way of using the mapper back-up but how?

I know the karaoke files are still where they are in their original files, but why oh why isn't vdj reading them anymore? I know I didn't save the last vdj profile because I finished tweaking my effects and stuff, so the only thing new I've added to vdj are my karaoke songs since my last mapper config.

The weird thing is: it's showing one karaoke file from one folder (which was a sample in mp4 format) but the other mp3+G karaoke files are just not showing up in vdj ? strange huh !

Since my last mapper config I made up some new virtual playlists and they've shown up on the software despite not saving, so why isn't the karaoke files showing up anywhere on vdj ?

I really shouldn;t have to download the karaoke files all over again just to get vdj to be able to find them should I..?
