Hey everyone,
Im pretty new to all this DJing stuff, pretty good at mixing so far, but not really sure exactly what equipment I need. I bought a Hercules MK4 because I figured that it would be a good place to start. I feel like it just isnt enough. As of right now, I am a bedroom DJ, but Im planning on making the move to keggers and typical college house parties pretty soon. I was wondering what other equipment I could use for mixing, effects, etc. Im obviously not good enough yet to scratch without ruining the mix but I dont know if I should get turntables or anything else.
Just as a side question, are there any speakers you would recommend? Im obviously on a budget but any advice/suggestions would be great.
Thanks in advance.

You of course need speakers but I tend to go with the expensive stuff so I will not recommend any to you since the price may be out of your reach. Try getting something powered, with the amps already built in. American Audio and Gemini have some cheap powered options but I have never used them so I can't recommend them.
You could add a pair of turntables or CDJs so you can run time codes, it will make your setup look a bit more legit but it will make your setup more bulky.

Any recommendations for some good, affordable cdjs? I think those are the better root for me now, I may switch to TT, just low on cash.
