Hi guys. Hope you all had a great festive period and a good new year!
For my quiz nights I use VDJ sampler to records clips of songs and then record the samples as 1 track. I've noticed, however, that my sample volumes are all over the place. Some are nice and loud...others are really quiet and I need to do alot of work sometimes to get them all the same.
I'm just wondering...if anyone can tell me...why are some of the sample volumes different?
Cheers...and keep spinnin'...(",)

I'm not 100% sure but sampler records the decks with the default level, not with the VDJ gain. Meaning that if you use auto gain or adjust the gain of the decks, this volume difference is not recorded.
I have uploaded a 99decks skin, which might help to handle issues like this since decks have auto gain.

isnt it because they are recorded/made at different levels to start with...

You can adjust them to the level you want, just go to samples and make it there. I have different settings for all my samples, some I want louder than others.

If they are saved as MP3's you can use MP3Gain to set them all at the same level.
