so im going to buy a new mixer next week and have a budget of £180-£200 to spend. or less. depending what i can get.
im not too fussed on used items but would consider one.
i was thinking of getting me a behringer DJX-750 i have found them ranging from £150- £210.
any views/experience with this mixer?
also is there any other suggestions of what i could buy on my budget?

Behringer mixers are crap basically. They sound terrible.
The guy I work with has one and it's tinny as hell. It looks like my DJM-500 but the sound is nowhere close.
Here's a selection between £100 & 200

i know one thing im deffo not going for the djx750. just watched some video reviews and they all gave a huge thumbs down. half the samples didnt work, the sliders werent linear and one of the selector switches for some ounknown reason cut out the high range on which ever channel it was used. plus it has some surround sound thing that done jack for anything.
back to the drawing board i think

You said you wanted a mixer then talked about the RMX, you know that the RMX is a midi controller and not a mixer right?
PS,
With the money you have to spent you deff have to buy used.

If it has been registered, you won't be able to register it to download the most recent DJ Console Edition (MP3e2 DJC is not compatible with RMX.) VirtualDJ serial numbers are non-transferable once registered.
However, you may still be able to use the upgrade discount if the previous owner hasn't already used it.
Better to purchase it new.
NOTE: The RMX is a software MIDI controller and will not function should you have a problem with your computer (I.e: You cannot use it to play an emergency source, unlike you could with a hardware audio DJ mixer.)

@charlie, i know mate, im just trying to decide. i want a new controler and soundcard too. im just debting on what i should buy. if i eanr enough this week i was also toying with th idea of new decks first then go for the mixer. im not 100% sure what to get first. i really do want a new mixer though as i have 2 pair of TT's. but i want to upgrade everything if im going to take this serious.
@jp
thanks for the info ill look into my budget again at the end of the week. i have 200 up to now. i might save for another month then decide what to buy. thing is my leg is starting to hurt.

ok so today i went to the phaze 1 open day. i went in the hope of finding a really good deal.
as it happens there was a bit of confusion over the cost of the mixer i wanted.
i was hoping to get the citronic SMFX-200 and a pair of dj s styli for my £200 budget. however as bold as i was in my effort, i come away with only the mixer fro my £200. a saving of £40 none the less.
ive brought it home and had a play around with it. actually before i arrived home i got a call saying there were some parcels arrived for me.
upon arriving home i found it was the connectors i needed to hook up my soundlab TT's.
so TT's were replaced and so was my mixer.
the citronic SMFX-200 has a huge amount of functionality and ive tested it so far with both conectivity for my timecodes and as a stand alone mixer via the usb.
so far im very happy with the mixer and can only see an increased love in the future.
thanks for making me decide against the behringer. big cheesy smiles all round. thanks guys.
oh and ill write up a review on this mixer and explain a bit about the conectivity later on.
