Hi guys, I am using a DDM4000 and a pair of Xone 1D's at the moment to controll VDJ7 2 deck setup. I finally have everything scripted the way I want it (thanks to poeple on this forum and tech support). Everything is working fine except that I have no working LED's on my DDM4000 (no need for them on the Xones as they have no LED's per say).
So I downloaded a mapper and definition file for the DDM, reconfigured it suit my settings and now I have working LED's. Trouble is, after I placed the mapper and definition files in Mappers and Devices, my Xones don't work. It seems I cannot use a simple midi wrapper with the new mapper and definition file.
Now I'm thinking, do I need to create a mapper and definition file for the Xones in order to get the both working together? Or is there an easier option, as I have NO idea how to go about doing this, EVEN after reading the instructions on Wiki. Can anybody please help!!!
btw.. One DJ was kind enough to send me an XML file for a Xone 1D but whe I put that in Mappers nothing happened.

@ DJ Echo...can I make a suggestion that you don't use the DDM4000 in MIDI - it's a waste of time.
One of my rigs uses a DDM4000 (and yes I bought a MIDI lead...waste of money) and the best way of setting it up is to have the sound config setup as External Mixer with an external ASIO sound card.
I run a DJIO via USB, with output 1 for the left deck and output 2 for the right deck, these feed into channels 1 and 2 of the mixer (I feed the audio from the my CDJ's into channels 3 and 4).
You can then use the DDM4000 as it was meant to be used and allow your Xone:1D's to operate on the Simple MIDI (I'm sure there is a mapper for them in the downloads section)
You will need a Virtual DJ Pro licence to be able to alter the sound configuration though.

Thanks for taking the time to post. While your suggestion makes good sense, it's not what I want to do at the moment. I got the DDM specifically as a midi controller and it works pretty good for me. Unfortunately there is no mapper & definition for Xone 1D in the download section so I'm still looking for what I want in the meantime if anyone can help, thanks.
