Sujet: Help With Soundcard

hey guys

I was wondering if anyone can give me advice on a a good soundcard to buy. I got back into DJing last summer and bought the RMX which i have to say i have enjoyed using. I have now started DJing in a local bar and want to use there CDJ 1000 mk3 and looking for a good soundcard so I can still use VDJ on my laptop via timecode CD.
I am running windows 7 on my laptop
intel core 3
4 gig ram

I was looking at the hercules dj trim and audio DJ 8.
I have read reviews on both but what one will best suit my set up that i am trying to achieve.
Also will the timecode d/l from the VDJ site work with my set up.

any advice would be great

What is the pro/cons of the audio 8 being USB powered unlike the hercules dj trim powered via mains?

Do you use the audio 8? Is it easy to set up using timecode with windows 7?

Well I dont have a trim so I dont know,

I dont use the Audio 8 anymore cause Serato released drivers for the SL3 so thats what I use now,

and I use Vista not 7, lol!!

@ dizatt...the 4/6 Trim is on my list of "things to buy" when I retire my DJIO. I like the mains powered option, as well as it operating as a USB hub.
