Greetings. I'm in the planning stages of making a mixer and I'm looking at a UMC32 USB-MIDI Controller by Halemicro. I want to know would it the task of the controller or the mapping in virtual dj to make a "MODE" button to shift a bank of 5 buttons. (ex. mode 1 = buttons 1-5 "Hot Cues", mode 2 = buttons 1-5 "Effects", mode 3 = "Loops", etc.) Thank you for your time.

Thanks a million. You are the man!!!(or woman)

Wink...I quite fancy taking a closer look at one of those...do you know if they are available to customers outside the US?

The company's website is www.halemicro.com and distributed through www.sparkfuncom. I'm not sure but I imagine that they should. I actually need two to do what I want but they $90 USD each. Right now I'm weighing the cost of this project as opposed to buying a midi mixer like the berhinger ddm-4000.
