Sujet: Line-in on/off button

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I have a hercules RMX. I wanted to know if it was possible to get the mapping for the source button. Ideally, when I press it on the left deck, it would pause/mute the left deck and play from lines 1/2 (L/R), and the same for the right deck with lines 3/4. Plus, I'd like to be able to use the crossfader, deck volume, and eq on the two inputs (not the pitch faders, obviously, but just the EQ/volume stuff).
Any ideas?

Anyone? I have a scratch track on vinyl, and right now I'm literally plugging my turntable into a different channel on my speaker's mixer/amp combo thing, so I'm trying to scratch without a crossfader.

The default is to switch to the line in's as you require... I'm not sure if the EQ's would work from the hercules as it's not an analogue mixer, it's something you'd have to try out.

If the source buttons do not work you may want to download a mapper, or revert back to factory settings (as they should switch to the line ins)

That is the default for the LE version that I have, but I DJ with my friend, who has a copy of virtual DJ pro, and we use my mixer with his laptop. The default for the source buttons is a bypass for timecode vinyls. Now, this KINDA works because when you have a turntable plugged in and spinning, it works fine (as I've described). But we only have one, and when you change cue decks, it changes which deck the timecode impacts. Plus, his laptop isn't quite good enough to handle timecoding (the music gets choppy... I think his overheats a fair bit. It's pretty old, but neither of us can afford a new one as of yet)

Just change the audio configuration so that the inputs are used for regular audio signal rather than timecode (i.e to work like the LE version):

- Input : Line In

- Output(s): Headphone

-Soundcard: DJ Console Rmx > APPLY EQ ON INPUT On

Ohhh. Hmm. I'll be seeing my friend tomorrow and I'll try it out then. Hope it works (sounds like it should).

It was kinda tempermental for me. At one point, the turntable was constantly coming out of the output regardless of what I did to the master volume, track faders, crossfader, etc (yes, I was sure it wasn't the headphone output connected to the speakers). I'd just use one timecode, but the computer we use seems to make the music blip up every so often when we do. I guess I'll have to mess with it.
