Ok so ive read a few guides on the net about mixing with virtual dj but still im having problems, i can never get it to sound right or anything. Another problem im having as well is when i want to use the 'samples' they go all funny and sound ike the chorus in akon's lonely.

When you're mixing you need to match up the first beat in every bar for starters if you want it to sound ok. If you want it to sound better still you'll need to match up the phases of tunes together so when one ends in song A another begins in song B etc. Of course you also need to have a good ear for it and it helps to know your tunes inside out as well!!!

Turn off beatlock for the sample, and it will not sound like "mr lonely" :)
