Go to CONFIG -> Mappers and choose the Denon DN-MC6000 in the drop-down list.
Find the mapping for VOLUME
Change the mapping Action: to the following:
action_deck 1 ? deck 3 volume_slider : action_deck 2 ? deck 1 volume_slider : action_deck 3 ? deck 2 volume_slider : deck 4 volume_slider
Repeat the above for the following other items, replacing each occurrence of volume_slider with the appropriate verb as indicated below:
PFL: pfl
EQ_LOW: eq_low
EQ_MID: eq_mid
EQ_HIGH: eq_high
GAIN: gain_slider
I'm trying to understand, I am new at mapping, I changed the volume with the action above. Now on the repeating section, do I take Volume_slider and replace it with pfl , eq_low, eq_mid, eq_high, gain_slider for each ?

Perhaps the people who have viewed so far do not know about mapping and/or do not have the MC6000?
You need to take the mapping above and replace each occurrence of volume_slider with the appropriate action, e.g: eq_low if you are changing the mapping for the bass EQ knob, e.g:
action_deck 1 ? deck 3 eq_low : action_deck 2 ? deck 1 eq_low : action_deck 3 ? deck 2 eq_low : deck 4 eq_low

The MC6000 should come with three seperate maps. Two for 4 deck mode (1,3,2,4) & (1,2,3,4) and one for 2 deck mode where VDJ is not controlled by the MC6000.
Can you save seperate mappings to be used by a controller in different circumstances or can you have only one?

You can only have one mapping installed at any one time.
You can't currently have multiple mappings and/or definitions installed for the same device and then choose between them.

That's what I thought.
Problem is swapping between Int mix mode and PC mix mode really requires different mapping sets.
I suppose you could create two different ones then swap them around in the mappers folder but it's not really ideal. A lot of confusion has been happening to people between these different modes but only one standard mapping file.
For example I have to change the volume, crossfader, gain & EQ maps to "nothing" in 2 deck int mix mode, however if I choose 4 deck PC mix mode they have to be mapped again. If they are not set to "nothing" in int mix mode then the positions of the controller are copied to VDJ on startup which should not be the case when using the MC6000 as a standalone mixer.
It is all a bit confusing, especially for new MC6000 owners who are not familiar with how VDJ works.

I entered the mapping below and when moving fader knob only 4 was correct.
action_deck 1 ? deck 3 volume_slider : action_deck 2 ? deck 1 volume_slider : action_deck 3 ? deck 2 volume_slider : deck 4 volume_slider
action_deck 1 ? deck 3 eq_low : action_deck 2 ? deck 1 eq_low : action_deck 3 ? deck 2 eq_low : deck 4 eq_low

I copied files as indicated, but the mapping isn't matching with the skin:
MC6000------------Skin
CH1----MAKES-----CH3 MOVE
CH2----MAKES-----CH1 MOVE
CH3----MAKES-----CH2 MOVE
CH4----MAKES-----CH4 ONLY ONE THAT'S CORRECT !
The mapping is perfect on the MC6000 I just want the skin in VDJ Pro to match when I slide the Channel knobs !
When I load deck A the cue of CH1 is used. What I'm doing wrong ?

In that case, you should use the default built-in mapper for the DN-MC6000. It is configured so that the sliders match the order of the default 4 deck skin. The posts above are about changing the order of the channels/sliders to 3 -> 1 -> 2 -> 4, which some users may prefer.
Go to CONFIG -> Mappers, choose the DN-MC6000 in the drop-down list and click the reset to factory settings button at the bottom-left of the Mappers dialogue box.

The default mapping just bring everything back to 1-2-3-4 ?!..... The new mapping on the MC6000 is perfect. It's the skin on the VDJ Pro 7 needs to be corrected, Sir.

Sorry, I did not see skin.
If you wish the skin to also act in the order 3 -> 1 -> 2 -> 4 then you would either need to modify it yourself or use a custom user-made skin that is already designed this way: http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/skins.html
For help creating/editing skins, please ask in the skins forum: http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/index.html
