I like it a lot bro. I can play CDs or from VDJ and from USB Drives. Able to play CDs was the plus
for me. I find myself at gigs all the time needing to play CDs. I don't like play CDs off my laptop
at gigs (the load time and read time can be bad). That's not good for my money. I don't want
to take out cd players just to play 3-4 cds a night. The Mixdeck is the only MIDI Controller that lets
you play CDs (that I know of). The cd decks are midi but the mixer part is not but (I Like It That Way).
The sound of the mixdeck is good but could be better (sounds like a CDMix 1). If for some reason
I wanted to play off timecode TCC I can without the need of another sound card but I could also use my
Serato sound card (not the software) if I want too. I look at all the other MIDI Controllers that cost $600
and up that can not do any of this and turn my head up. With the Mixdeck I get more for my money.
Another plus for me was the two line ins and a good mic line in. With the line in If for some reason I wanted
to take my CDJs or my Turntables I could without the need of another mixer. When I do house gigs or small
gigs someone always ask me to play a damn song off there ipod. The ipod input is good to have (I don't like it but it helps).
For me the Mixdeck works out great.

I will be buying a Mixdeck next week but as soon as the "Gemini CDMP-7000" comes out I'll be picking up one of those, granted the reviews are good.

The Gemini CDMP 7000 features to two decks connected to a mixer. The decks feature a large colour TFT touch screen, touch sensitive illuminated platters and controls for cueing, looping and scratching.
The Gemini CDMP 7000 features input/output options including 2 line/phono inputs, 2 CD inputs, stereo Aux input, USB input, rear mic combo input and a front 1/4 inch headphone output, balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA.
The Gemini CDMP-7000 Main Features:

Six DSP-powered effects.
MIDI control allowing assignment of various buttons of the CDMP-7000 to trigger other devices, such as DJ effecters and software with MIDI mapping capability.
Industry's first Full-colour TFT touch screens.
Pristine audio quality with a 24-bit/192 kHz soundcard and 3-channel mixer with powerful and flexible Inputs/Outputs including XLR outputs, Master, Booth, and Record stereo RCA outputs and 2 S/PDIF digital audio output.
Street price should be around a 1000 bucks I think. Comes out the end of April I believe. Its the same as the MixDeck but a big step up, I Hope, lol!!
