Hey guys. I previously posted on the mac version technical support. Basically VDJ started crashing a few days back. It was intermittent at that time. After restarting the software and my DNMC6000, it was fine.
But now after just having updated the firmware, I cannot even open VDJ once. Everytime I open it up with my DNMC6000 running, it automatically shuts down with an error report. The only way around this is to open up VDJ then turn on my DNMC6000, but that gives me a 100 other problems. The music stutters when playing, when you touch the jog wheel it acts crazy and the song is still paused even after ive lifted my fingers off the jogwheels. At times the music just refuses to play even after pressing the play button several times. Its simply unusable.
The software runs fine on its own without the MC6000 connected. I really dont know what to do right now. I've had so much faith in this product and its been letting me down time and again. I never complained much even with the occasional freezing issue when running on the default firmware. I thought this firmware update would resolve the issue. Instead I'm left with a host of other problems.
I've got a gig in 2 days and I'm pretty much fucked if I cant resolve this by then.
I've posted the crash report here

Okay Im literally begging for help now. I've got a gig in 6 hours. I have no idea what to do. Every time I connect my DNMC6000 then start VDJ it crashes immediately. Only way around this is to open up VDJ first then turn on my DNMC6000. But this doesnt work all the time either. In fact it usually still crashes 8/10 times when I do this. I tried closing all other programs, repairing my disk permissions as well and still havent resolved it.
If anyone has any ideas, I'll be eternally grateful. Thanks.

The problem is the plugin you are using called djosdelay we are investigating it and will know more soon.

Thanks DJ Cyder. I've removed that effect and it seems to be working fine now. Big thanks to DJ Homeboy as well. You guys saved my skin today. Cheers!

You are very welcome.

it may be a bad config file for the plugin, I'm going to leave it up on the site as this is the first reported case i've seen for the effect. You can try removing all traces of it including it ini file and try a clean install of the effect in question and see what happens when you get some free time.
