Hey guys I'm a new dj and I have absolutely no experience so can you guys help me out on what I need and how to practice all I have so far is the virtual dj home edition since my budget is a lil low

The Numark Mixtrack Pro is a pretty good deal these days http://www.numark.com/mixtrackpro , or look for a Hercules MK2 (cheap and great for beginners) or MK4, Hercules RMX works fine too. All of these are midi controllers which connect through usb onto your pc/laptop. It's plug and play all the way.
How to practice? Read blogs, watch tutorial videos, watch other people dj and spend lots of time on it. Don't expect it to be perfect from the start, it takes time.
