Sujet: changing tracks using VMS4

Hi all,

I have a problem with changing tracks with my vms4 & vdj 7, previously I held down shift & used the sampler number to scroll up & down my tracks, once I found the track I wanted I held down & pressed the knob down & the track was transfered to the deck but this is not working now.

any suggestions what i am doing wrong.

I have also notice that loop buttons no longer work either, really bizarre !!!
 
i downloaded the free version which is Virtual DJ Home and i want to download effects , i have to buy like Virtual DJ broadcaster or Pro basic or Pro full to download them or can i just buy a membership and download them ?

-sorry but i need help lols.
 
Sounds like you've messed the mappings up. Easiest way is on the info tab choose factory reset - if you don't have that option then in the mapper tab set/check the following are as below:

FOLDER_SELECT to be browser_window "folders" & browser_scroll
SONG_SELECT to be browser_window "songs" & browser_scroll

Hi.. I tried both but still not working, it was working fine over the weekend, when I set it back to the factory settings the looping & the song selection do not work.

I can scroll thru the folders & songs but just cant select the songs.

I have checked the mappings but they appear to be ok.
