I am working on some new intros for my next mixtape & I want to get some stuff from some movies. How do I rip sound from them? Usually I do a search on the net for stuff but what I am working on now is more specific.

well for one thing you can just record the sound with certain programs i believ you can do so with audacity.... just go on configu... and select the pc as your input so w.e plays in your pc will be recorded.... then you can edit it back in audacity or w.e program you like

For ripping sound from DVD movie on your computer, you might need an audio recorder, with which users can capture audio from DVD directly. I personally use this way to capture sound from DVD, just have a try.
