Greetings all.
I have been using 2 Vestax VCI-100s (black) for a while and have a little problem.
When I plug everything together, boot the laptop, and launch VDJ... sometimes the controllers are reversed... and sometimes the controllers both run decks 1&2.
I mostly get around it by swapping the positions of the decks, or rebooting again. Swapping the USB ports usually brings both controllers to work decks 1&2.
I see the VDJ script verb: masterdeck
Would I map this verb to a key on the controller? Then press a key on my left controller will that make that controller run decks 1&2, and the right controller decks 3&4? I assume masterdeck is deck 1.
I'm a bit confused how to control my VCI's. Is this the verb to use?
Thanks,
Jim

Have you checked the setting in the mappers tab that tells VDJ what controller runs what decks?
masterdeck is related to which is the primary deck for sync purposes.

Ahhhhh..... success.
Thanks SBDJ you bailed me out again. I indeed found the controller assignment dropdown listbox by hitting the button in the Mapper Tab.
That did the job. I am pleased VDJ provisioned for this situation. Geeze I love V.7
