Sujet: Back On Line

As the title says I've finally been connected back up to civilisation, if you live in the UK don't believe a word what the telecoms companies tell you, especially Sky... On the 18th of Febuary they said it would take a week to get all the connections I needed at the new house, they finally hooked me up today to the internet, what a nightmare!!!

Mind I did get a new HD box and three months free rental for my pains... lol

So anyone feeling a bit snubbed by not getting a reply to any enquiries you can now understand why if that pm hasn't been answered yet.

A bit off topic but... In Australia telecommunication companies are legally obliged to provide telephone services to residence within 28 days of the request... After that time has passed they must offer compensation (I have a mate who works for the telecommunication ombudsman) He told me a story once of a lady in a rural area who did not receive services for 6 months, anyway she received compensation of $24,000 AUD prob about 12,000 pounds, If your angry I'd look into that... Anyway welcome back

Damn! wish I lived in Oz, the notification of move went in on 18th of Feb, so it gave them a week before the shift, they even advertise "one weeks notice for a hassle free move" so I might have been in line for a few blue ones... lol.
 
You were gone? Funny, I've slept better, lost weight, and grew back most of my hair over the last month.....oh well, there goes my re-emergence as a spry 29 year old....again.... ;^) Welcome back Paul...things have been pretty much the same 'round the old joint in your absence.....
