Saturday Night was my first gig with the Mac.
First off, having my QSC-12's and Behringers all running with the windows laptop used to give me a hum and a fuzz when all the volumes were up and no song was playing. This you couldn't notice much when music was playing.
With the Mac, absolutely no hum, no "white-noise", even with the laptop plugged in to the power.
It was really nice to have a nice clean sound.
No "latency" issues, no hicups or glitches.
I must say, even when I had the windows laptop tweaked to it's best, it was never this good of a sound.
Other than that, I still can't make the Hercules remember what the buttons are for. Buttons 1-6 on the "effects" keep going back to whatever they feel like it.
I've asked in other threads, but no one seems to really know what to do, at least no one with a Mac.
Anyways, even if I had to live without these buttons, I won't go back to windows.
Cheers

Yes, I guess I never thought the Mac would be this much better. I thought it was all hype.
As soon as my funds allow it, I will be getting quad core 15" :) and my 13" will be backup

Was expecting to get some money back in tax but operantly not going to be was much as expected... So I'll end up selling my iMac so I can get a Macbook pro 15" or 17" and use the withe macbook as a backup
@Ticoindamix I also thought it was all hype untill I bought my iMac 1 year ago. ended up selling all my windows based pc's :D I have one toshiba laptop left that is in no shape to be sold so it's just collecting dust.

who did your taxes?
I always use turbotax and I get more money back than expected. For instance this $1200 mac that i bought this year, I'll be able to deduct it next year :)

It's not the same in my country as in the US the tax is calculated by a government rune company. I was expecting the get reduction in tax for my son but his mom got it although he is living with me. But what every I'm saving up will just take a bit longer then expected and the macbook works fine for audio mixing 4 decks and that all I need to do.
