Sujet: Hercules MP3 E3 - Help

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hi,

I recently got a new PC. My old one had a 4.1 surround sound card. Unfortunately my new PC cant be open and I wouldnt like to open it for obvious reasons anyway. I have 2 sound outputs, one in the front of the computer and one in the back. For some reason, unlike before, I cant seem to get one song/deck going through the speakers and the other song/deck going through my headphones while using my Hercules MP3 E2. I plug my speakers in one output and my headphones in the other but the sound only comes out through the speakers. Help Please.

Note: I wasnt sure in which forum part to post this (Hardware or PC Version) So I posted on both.

Kind Regards,
Kzandoca

If your new PC only has one socket on the front and back, then it only has a single stereo sound card. The socket on the front is simply a duplicate of the rear socket for more convenient access.

If you are using DJ Console Edition for MP3e2 console, then your best option is to purchase a proper dedicated multi-channel DJ sound card such as Numark DJIO or Native Instruments Audio 2 DJ.

Alternatively, if you are on a budget, you can add a basic stereo USB sound card for the headphone output. Your computer's built-in sound card will be used for the master output and the USB card for your headphones (Plug your headphones into the USB card.)
