Hi I've decided to buy the KRK RP6 G2 monitor speakers for buy bedroom DJ Set up I was just wondering if anyone had experienced any problems. also just to check that they definitely have a built in amp.

To be honest.. You dont need to buy expensive powerd speakers for a home Dj setup. Studio speakers are more for producing music where you need to hear all the details of a track. I have two Stageworks powered 6 1/2 inch speakers and a JBL 10 inch powered 150 watt powered subwoofer. Its loud enough for what i need it for and it sounds really good. Behringer has a 8 inch powered speaker and its loud for its size and it sounds really good for a DJ monitor. My friend has one and he uses it at home plus when he has a gig.
