I just recently purchased a Vestax Typhoon that came bundled with Virtual DJ and want to add a midi controller (drum pad type) to trigger cue points and samples.
I have two questions:
1) Is it possible to assign cue points and samples to pads? If so am I able to save settings so that they are the same the next time I start the program? Are there any video tutorials that show you how to do this?
2) What is a good controller to get? I am thinking of buying the M-Audio Trigger Finger as it will integrate with my Torq Vinyl set up, but am also thinking about buying the NI Maschine mainly for production, and given the number of pads and other control functions it has this could work too. I would appreciate any views on these controllers and how they would function with virtual DJ.
