Sujet: VDJ vs

I've been using Virtual DJ for six years now and needed to update my software. So after compare VDJ to Traktor pro 2, I'm sold with the price features of TP2. There are both stable DJ software but I like the waveform on Tp2 which I think Vdj should add in there next update.

you and the millions of others who want VDJ to undergo a Serato makeover...
 
Tell me this, how are you gonna know which wave belongs to which track if they did that?? A colored wave would never work so that means they would have a whole of work to just so you could ride a wave better..........get real.

I am not bashing VDJ, Like I said it's a solid software but there are some things VDJ should incorporate from Serato and Traktor if they want to be ahead. And FYI both Serato and TP2 have multiple Decks and color waveforms. My main reason for picking TP2 was the price over VDJ. Once again i'm not bashing VDJ as I used it for a long time and I WILL go back to it when the price is right and updates catch on. I used all other software and VDJ is alot more fun to use so I hope Atomix productions are paying attention to what their customers are looking for!
 
Getting ahead is archived by delivering performance and features that are ahead of the competition - not by copying others just for the sake of copying. I've tested Traktor Pro 2 extensively and I still prefer VDJ's waveform display. The colored waveforms might look cool, but that's pretty much it.

I really think Virtual Dj could do better too. But some people here gets offended when opinions are given! They should change the wave form and also they still needs to work more on the sound quality.
 
 
Ok for the record cause I know I come off as a shallow piece of work, Lmao, I own VDJ pro, Serato, and yes Traktor pro 2. I can use all 3 very well equally. The things I can't stand about the other 2 right off the bat is the way you have to add your music, Traktors not as bad as Serato but it sucks. Next mapping Traktor is hell!! Serato well you get what they give and its no where close to what you can do with VDJ. Traktor does not do video, I spin videos, Serato well pretty much sucks when it comes to video. It can be done but pretty much only on a MAC, go to there forums and tell them your pc isn't working for videos, all they say is get a MAC. Wave forms I could give a crap about. Do they look good, yes, are they nesscery for me to mix no! Bottom line for me is the customization that you can do we VDJ plus nobody does video like them in my opinion........ So there you have it.

Are those colirezed wave forms exclusive for serato are those registered so no other software can do it. So just because some user like me want
Those wave forms that means we coping serato...wtf...are those guys for real...so traktor it's coping serato.
 
OK guys, I agree with him, many of us want better waves. Cuz VDJ's waves basically suck. We gotta have lots of video ram if we want waves soft waves. Now, that's is not what he is asking for, but it would be nice to have those colored waves.

You guys should see it from another point of view. I understand your opinions but come on, don't think like that. Of curse we don't want to copy any other software. We want to have something original but why don't let vdj to expand its features? I hate VDJ's waves, they get slow sometimes. That's the only thing I do not like. But I still love this software and I would not change it for another one.
