It really comes down to what features you want, which is based on the type of music you play and the techniques you want to use. In my opinion the ns7 is a hip hop dj's controller, it has moving platters so that you can scratch with a feeling that is close to vinyl. If this is the case there are two other options available with bigger decks for better scratching:
Stanton scs.1d

denon dns 3700

If you don't want to scratch I would first have a go in the shop to decide if I really needed moving platters, you should find that mixing is much harder with a moving platter than for is jogwheel counterpart, but I play with a dvs system because it appeals to me to play with vinyl (im a bit of a dinosaur in that department) If you are just using your controller for straight mixing i would get a numark ns6 as numark really seem to be rivaling pioneer in build quality and features.
ns6

pioneer ddj-t1 (four mixing channels) ddj-s1 (two mixing channels)

If you want ultimate street cred get techniques 1200's

Cause chicks dig em! LOL
