I am using a ASUS G73Jh 64 bit, 6 gig of ram and 640 gig harddrive. The video card is a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 1GB GDDR5. NEW Laptop.
ok, NOW I am getting pissed...when I first open VDJ, I open one of my video folder(5 total I split it up), and play the video. If I click on any other video folder, it stops the video for a couple of seconds (audio keeps going) then the video catches up. I have this issue until I have clicked on every folder, then if I click on the folder again, it doesn't do it. Just using it right now and I think I have found the another problem, if I have automix on, with a video playing and load another one into the play list, it will stall the video that is being played for 5 seconds.

New laptop: HP Pavilion dv6. Quad-core i5, 2.3GHz, 6GB ram, 640GB HD. Intel (R) Graphics family.
Video is choppy in the VDJ interface. I was hopping that it's only like that on the laptop screen, but then I split the screens and got the same exact output on the big screen. What should I do? I've been reading about all this complaints from ppl with Nvidia, so I won''t even go there.
Any solution for this problem? THANK YOU!
ps. when I play a HD movie on a duplicate screen, it crystal clean. It has to do with the VDJ!!!

First dowload and use this program to shut down background services you don't need. http://www.iobit.com/ld/interstitial/
Second you need to tweak video card and memory settings, use this tool. http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/2170/Registry_Tool.html
Thead on how to use it http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/146382/General_Discussion/Having_video_freeze_problems____Urgent_help_needed____Please____.html?search=registry tool&page=1
