just a quick one, wen in running vdj on my macbook pro, which is bootcamped with xp without the charger plugged in the cpu at the top left hardly goes into the green, but wen i plug the charger in it goes up about 10% and will stay like this, wen the laptop is charging does that use ram?? thanks

no,

but it could be that some services are shut down to save battery when u are unplugged.
