I've got a MacBook 2.4GHz Intel Core Duo, 2GB RAM with Snow Leopard 10.6.7

I've noticed on many occasions that VDJPro will slowly start consuming increasingly large amounts of CPU time.

So when I start using VDJPro, the CPU indicator will be roughly 25% but after a while it will be more like 85-90%. During that time, my laptop fan starts cranking away at full speed and starts getting hotter than I would like it to get.

Then if I restart my MacBook and relaunch VDJPro, the CPU is at the low level of 25% and the whole process starts over again over the course of time.

I am not using video or effects or making any demands on VDJPro other than loading tracks into the decks and playing them

What can explain this excessive CPU usage and why does it immediately go back to 25% after a restart of the comptuer?

Is this considered a memory leak or some sort of bug?

I was skeptical that turning off airport would have much effect on CPU, but boy did it ever. I turned off airport and CPU dropped significantly. Thanks for the tip.
