Okay everybody, thanks to all who take the time to view this post, as I am a 17 year old kid that is TRULY DEDICATED to becoming a great DJ in my area, I have all the confidence and dedication in the world! I just need someone to point me the right way.
This summer I want to buy $200.00 worth of starter equipment to start me off with, I want to Dj obv using this program, and I know a couple DJ's that are experienced in my area, but too busy to help me out, eventually they will help me master this program and ABLETON LIVE. That said, what should I buy, remember I have nothing but this program and ABLETON LIVE, maybe I should buy a virtual dj license first, and get some nice headphones, maybe small speakers, but what do I need to get to listen to one track in my headphones, while my primary track is playing on the speakers. Right now I just want to get started ASAP! Thanks to all whom help me!
By the way I am thinking of Spinning Trance, Techno, House, Party dubstep! (AVB and Tiesto inspires me)
Favorite Tracks
-Daddyrock Sander Van Doorm
-Between The Rays Orjan Nilsen
-Reflections Firewall
-The Future Lee Haslam
-Cafe Del Mar Energy 52
and one more thing, its okay if you guys laugh at how much of a nub I am, or maybe if I dont know anything, my dad was a great dj, and right now he has cancer and is in the hospital, I just want to be somewhat like him, but I am going to college as well, I want to be a great Dj, I am a fresh Newbie that literally knows nothing about equipment, once my dad maybe gets out, he will teach me everything about beats, mixes, gain, bpm, all that stuff, and I will Learn Fast!

You can't get much with 200$, so I would recommend that you start building a setup that is easy to expand once you can afford to buy more.
The good news is that you can do quite a lot with Virtual DJ Home (the free version). The first thing you'll need quality external USB sound card like, say, M-Audio Fast Track Pro. You can hook up your headphones to it for cueing and even hook it up to an external mixer. Once you're ready to buy a controller, upgrade to Virtual DJ Pro.

Here is a thought to keep in mind:
Instead of wanting to spin a certain genre, might I suggest that you learn ALL music. There are a lot more gigs to be had by being prepared for ANY situation. This job is not about the DJ, this job is about the guests at your event having a GREAT time and leaving wanting more. $200 will buy you a cheap toolbox full of cheap tools, but tools does not a mechanic make. Not only that, but those cheap tools will not hold up to the rigors of regular use. Same thing applies here. There is a very good reason we spend thousands on quality gear. For most of us that do weddings and other events, we only have ONE chance to get it right. You don't want to roll the dice on cheap gear only to have it crap out on you as you are announcing the bride and groom or when you have the dancefloor whipped into a frenzy at a nightclub.
I would also suggest you read this:

Mixtrack Pro!
its that simple, buy the mixtrack pro or a different second hand controller that has built in audio.
thats where id start if i were new and had a budget. with the mixtrack or a hercules or similar, you get essentially 2 decks, a mixer and an FX unit all in one. plus you will get a limited edition lisence to vdj :D or tracktor...depending on what you buy.
if you buy a used controller with built in sound card, you can later expand to timecodes and use an external mixer etc...
if you can stretch the budget effo go for aomething with built in soundcard.
mixtrack pro has only one output which goes to your amp. and no inputs for anything else. it is just a midi controller, but its still a great product for the price.

@nutz, No a mechanic does not make tools, an engineer/toolmaker makes tools. mechanics simply make machines work via mechanical manipulation.
sorry, had to point that out.

That was a little Yoda speak. In English:
Just having tools does not make you a mechanic. Just buying gear, no matter what the price, does not make you a DJ.
