Check Guitar Center or any large music equipment distributor, not sure if it's a good idea....

I'm not certain this is the best idea either as it leaves too much room for error. There are just too many wireless devices at any event that can interfere with the frequency that your speakers are running on. You will never have a completely wireless system as your active speakers need to be plugged into a stable power source.

I've thought of this on and off for a couple of years now
This is how I would do it:
I'd get 2 of these or something similar:

The receiver/transmitter stays close to me and the guitar antenna goes on the speaker.
I've never tryed this, but have used many wireless guitar systems since the mid 90's (when I played guitar for a semi-living)
I've always liked sampson & nady for that.

Hi mate.
Being a devils advocate type of guy. What do you hope to save on by using the wireless setup? You have to provide mains electrical power anyway so would the wirless system be a little over compex and expensive for the sake of 2 XLR cables?
Good luck with it but I think I could find better places for the money to go :-)
Just my thoughts

I use the Phonic wireless system and love it, used it last weekend actually.
Had two powered tops outside on a deck for a cocktail hour, it would have taken loads of wire and tape to make it happen otherwise.

These receivers attach to fly anchors on the back and I put internally wired outlets on the back to simplify the set up.
Also use wireless dmx and love it.

The frequency response is very poor on the Phonic wireless system... 50Hz to 8kHz (+/-3dB). Great lows, no highs unless it's an error in the specs. I am looking for something similar as I do many shows in hotels where I need a seperate system to play cocktail music in a different area or another room close by. Or need to place a speaker on the other side of a large room across from me. That can take easily 150 foot cable just to go 50 feet in front of me plus taping the cables at doors, etc. Any ideas for a good wireless system?
