Sujet Tracks randomly restarting

I recently bought a pair of Numark V7's and had glitches in Itch software (seems everyone does) so thought I would try Virtual DJ. Unfortunately I am having even worse problems with VDJ.

On my left deck, tracks randomly restart. There doesn't seem to be a reason for it, I first thought it was when I was messing with the right deck, but sometimes it just does it with me not touching anything. I really like VDJ and want to use it for playing out, but tracks restarting is probably worse than the odd glitch in itch!

Can anyone help me? By the way, I have a mixtrack pro and VDJ works perfect with it... I just don't get it.

PC is an Acer 5742 i3 with 4gb mem, Virtual DJ 7.0.4.

Thanks. Dave.

Thinking logically it sounds like it's the V7 that's causing it.

Try using VDJ with just the other V7, and see if it happens.

sounds like it's just a button or something stuck or shorted on the numark deck. i'd see about exchanging it while you're still in that grace period.

I've swapped the decks around and it does it with both of them, but it's always the master deck (left deck in my case).

I've uninstalled and re installed both Virtual DJ and the V7 drivers but it still does it.

They work perfectly with itch (bar the occasional audio glitch which it seems a lot of people are having problems with), so I can't see it being a problem with the decks.

It doesn't seem to do it when I just use one deck (unplugging the slave deck). I have changed the cable that connects the two and it still does it. I'm stuck for ideas now!

Bump (anyone?)

Have got that desperate that I formatted and restored my laptop to factory, re installed Virtual DJ and guess what... still does it!
