I have a Chauvet Obey 40 on the way to me right now. I am trying to decide to keep it or put it up for sell and not even unpackage it. I am thinking possibly to get the MyDMX and go straight into it and not mess with the obey 40.
I want to hear from people that have either the Obey 40 or the ADJ myDMX system. What do you think I should do?

Chauvet Showxpress is what I like the best. I have tried software and hardware solutions. Showxpress allows the most flexibility for me. I can program individual scenes for each fixture's color, gobo, and x/y motion. Then I can select those parameters in a live situation to create layers of motion, color, and gobo. With MyDMX, each of these parameters need to be set and saved as a single scene. For a fixture with 8 colors and 8 gobos, that is 64 buttons for all the combos...and that doesn't even include the x/y motion. With Showxpress, I can have quick access to all 64 combos with 16 buttons.
