Hello Folks,
As the title states I am a newbie to these forums, so I am not 100% sure where this post should go.
I have been using VDJ LE for almost a year and I finally upgraded to the Full Pro version. I have been messing around with this over the last couple of days, and one thing I noticed that I thought would change when I upgraded, was use of samples. I've tried using it via my VMS4 controller as well as the keyboard, and even mouse clicking on the screen.
I am wondering if there is a way to use the samples like a cue point, when I hit it, it plays and if i hit it half way through the sample, it starts from the top of the sample again... Currently it is working as a toggle button and not a hot cue button. I cannot get the effects I would like in it's current state.
If anyone is able to point me in the right direction or tell me how to get this to work as I am hoping, I would be really appreciative! I am very new to VDJ and coding it, so I am not 100% sure what that would consist of.
I have tried to search the boards for a soulution, but I have not been able to fins what I am looking for. If anyone knows what I am talking about and how to achieve it, I would be very grateful!

you just need to map a button either midi or keyboard to
sampler # play_stutter
eg
sampler 1 play_stutter

Thank you so much!!! That is very helpful!! I was able to make the change for the keyboard. I am going to work on the mapper for my controller now!

Hey Folks,
I haven't been able to get the "sample play_stutter" command to stick tot he controller mapper. It worked perfectly for the keyboard mapper, but then when I try to use the sample via the keyboard, the volume level is very low, almost like a faint background sound.
Is there something else I am supposed to do to get it to stick to the controller command?

Disregard my above message... I stumbled apon it and it seems to be working. Now let's hope it still works when I get my VMS4 back... I just had to ship it back to AA, again.
