No, I'm not here to bug the dev team about the possibility of Android support (well not in this post at least!), I was just wondering if anybody knows of a decent DJ app for Android phones. While I wouldn't normally consider going out doing a gig just armed with my galaxy s2, it would be nice to have it as a backup if something went wrong with my system mid-show. Is there ANYTHING out there that features two decks, and headphone cueing via a mono split cable? Doesn't seem that much to ask, but I've yet to find anything on Android Market that does this. Any thoughts folks?

i have found one of the best dj apps ever in the android market and it has almost nothing to do with music.
it's called Visual Ringer and its actually an app for the hearing impaired.
BUT...
we work in loud and sometimes pretty dark environments and a notification that makes the camera's flash blink, along with a nice loud and peircing ringtone is just the ticket when management uses texts for most of the communication in the bar, and for when you have the music up nice and loud - that blinking light can save your butt!
and yeah - android control dj apps for VDJ would be nice. the ones already out kinda blow.

seems pointless..just put it on vibrate. or do what i do and sit my phone on my mixer or laptop...that way you can see you have a txt or call anyway. you could get a holder for it and clamp it to your laptop stand so its right in your face.

limited space and time - i leave it plugged in on charger sitting on countertop and that way the screen stays on and unlocked so i can get messages right then and there as soon as i see the blinking light - doesnt matter where i am in the booth i will see it even if i dont hear it. works for me.

ooh, my phone locks and turns off the screen even when on charge.
i suppose it it works for you then its good. we all have out own little ways to do things.
