I'm testing out my NS6 setup in house before bringing it out on the road.
I'm coming from 2 icdx's and a rane empath board. I've never experienced any popping or cracking before, so my assumption is it is coming from the NS6 use of the internal mixer.
I've tried all Lantency options and also clicked the "safe mode" button, but it's still there. . . Not all the time, but you can her the audio crack once in a while. .. sometimes several crack in a row, sometimes just once in a while.
is it a issue with my laptop not being able to keep up with the software?

Sound issues usually are due to bad computer performance.
Read this guide please

and use DPC Latency Checker to locate the device that causes those sound issues.
