Sujet: Help in software needed

I'm off on holiday on Friday and want to mix a couple of songs together. I can easily do this using the free version of VDJ but i want to be able to improve the mix by previewing the songs using headphones but i have no idea how to do this without using some kind of external usb(since i have a laptop). Does anyone have any advice on the software needed for me to be able to do this? Thanks

In order to be able to prelisten the songs using headphones, you have 2 options with Home Free version..

1. Plug a Y-Splitter cable/adaptor to you laptop's headphones input and connect a pair of speakers to one side and headphones to the other.

2. Plug a simple stereo USB sound card to your laptop and connect headphones there.

Choose the appropriate picture from the Config->Sound setup

#2 is the best option or you only get mono output for both speakers and headphones.
