Sujet: Numark NS7 4 deck - stupid question?

Hello. Looking at getting the mighty NS7 - not a 4 deck controller - but I'm thinking, surely I can use the NS7 for 2 decks, then manually work the other 2 decks via mouse/trackpad, directly in VDJ.

Does that make sense + is that right? So although it's not a 4 deck controller, I can still work multiple platters through the 4 deck skins? Or am I missing something?

I could go for the Traktor S4 or the NS6 or similiar, but I really like the look of the 7" platters on the NS7.

Any help/clarification would be ace!

You can use NS7 for control of deck 1 and 2, and mouse to control deck 3 and 4 whitout any problems. You can also configure mapper to control all thru NS7.

With some VDJ script you can all 4 decks with the NS7. Look in the pc forums, they have a sticky on script to switch controls for 2 deck MIDI controllers.
