So I dj for this club and the past two times I have been having this problem. I hook up the mixtrack pro to a 3 channel mixer the club has. The music goes through it with no problem. The problem i have is that the headphones only play whats coming out of the club speakers. If i try and listen to the next song it wont work even if i press the cue button. Does anyone have a similar problem or have any solutions??

The Numark MixTrack Pro is an all-in-one controller and software-based MIDI mixer. It does not support separate deck outputs to an external DJ mixer.
To headphone pre-listen, you must connect your headphones to the headphone output of the MixTrack Pro itself. See http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/MixTrack%20Pro.html for the correct sound configuration.
If you wish to be able to use the external mixer instead of the MixTrack Pro, then you would need to purchase a DJ sound card with at least two stereo outputs such as the Numark DJIO or Native Instruments Audio 2 DJ and then use the Outputs: External Mixer option in VirtualDJ (The MixTrack does not support this configuration - It only has master outputs.)
You will also need to purchase the full VirtualDJ Professional if you are using VirtualDJ LE: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html - Enter your VirtualDJ LE serial number in the box to receive a significant discount off the cost of upgrading.

thanks for the help but the problem is we have been using the headphone jack only from the mixtrack pro itself. I'm working off of my friends system. He has the vdj pro version 7. This is the second time we had this problem. The outputs go to the mixer and we use the mixtrack pros headphone jack to listen but nothing works.
