So I have a Numark Mixtrack and a Behringer FCA202 Firewire card. For some reason I can't preview the cue in my headphones? In settings it's one channel master, the other headphones, so I bought a Y-adapter and I still lose a speaker. When I plug my headphones in the appropriate jack I hear the master mix. Anyways that's only part of my dilemma.

I was given two Numark TT. I really like the Numark mixtrack but I want to start using real decks. I've searched and googled and didn't find anything on how to connect my decks to the Behringer. Is this possible?

Since I want to start using the decks I'll have to give up the Mixtrack. I saw the hercules alternative. Is it as simple as the Mixtrack and how is the soundcard on it? I know there's rane and native instruments but my budget doesn't allow it.

Your Behringer only has 1 stereo output, and the headphone out is a replication of the back output.

In order to get headphone preview, you need an audio interface that has 2 stereo output (one for the main mix, the other for Cueing).

As well, you would need the same number of inputs if you want to use 2 external sources, but for this, you would also need Virtual DJ Pro Full for timecode support.

My opinions about Hercules could be seen as biased (!!), but they are good quality products used by DJs of many levels. That being said, I would invest in a good quality audio interface and keep the Mixtrack as a controller (which always comes handy even if using TT).

Would I be able to use my mixtrack as a mixer for my TT's? I really like the Mixtrack set up. I might just invest in Native Instruments Traktor Duo.
